Our Team
Amazon Adventure is delivered by the Smith Family, who have been creating family memories and unique play experiences since 1997 at Drusillas Park in East Sussex.
With family roots in Tunbridge Wells, Laurence and Christine Smith, along with their children, Cassie Poland, Caroline Steer, and Ollie Smith, knew that the much-loved Minor Mania (as Amazon Adventure was previously known) was the perfect place to begin an exciting expansion of the Drusillas family of visitor experiences.
Headed up by youngest daughter Caroline Steer, Amazon Adventure represents the first opportunity to take almost 30 years of family-attraction knowledge and expertise to create another unique play experience and bring some Drusillas magic to the Kent border.
Caroline earnt her stripes in the visitor attraction world, with more than 10 years’ experience in operations, events, and customer service at Drusillas Park. During a career break to raise her two young daughters, Clementine and Fleur, she became a regular visitor to Minor Mania and so really understands how to create the best possible experience for our audience – with Clementine and Fleur acting as her chief play testers and advisors!
